I just received my pair of SL 100s in size 32.

The inseam is seriously long. Do I need to soak these to get rid of shrinkage before getting them taken up?

If so what is the best method for soaking?

Cheers

The denim on those jeans is sanforized, they'll shrink no more than .5" after a wash and there's no need for a soak before wearing. Hem them now but have them hemmed a little on the long side.

What's the latest sizing advice for the slim straight indigo? I'm a 34 in Epaulet rivet chinos, 32 in APC NS...

You sound like you have the measurements as I do. I went with a 33 in the SL 100 and was very happy.

Thank you - One more question.

What do they stretch like in the waist? I was surprised to compare them to my size 30 APC NS and see that the 32 SL-100 waist is exactly the same - is this going to stretch out much? (I hope not...)

my SL 100s that were tagged a 33 measured a 34 when I got them. After about 25 wears they have stretched to 35 1/4 - 35 1/2. I've never washed or soaked so not sure how they would react....prob not much as they are sanforized

I just bought a pair of SL-100x in 32. They we're pretty tight at first and I was admittedly a little worried that they weren't going to work. However, 3 days of wear have gotten them to a wearable state and I'm sure they'll only get better with time. I have to say, these jeans are extremely well made and feel great to the touch. My only gripe, as I believe others have pointed out, are the back pockets placement/size. They run a bit too far down my leg and are much deeper than any pockets I've ever had before. This makes for a bit of discomfort when sitting on hard surfaces for a long time, and getting my wallet out is sometimes a pain.

I'll post some picks in a few days, but just thought I'd share my excitement.

Agree withe the back pocket comment, however I'm sure I'll survive with that. Only current concern is that they may stretch too much.

Does anyone else with indigo/indigo get a little mental about fuzz and dust showing up?

A quick picture of the honeycombs of my SL-100x. Seven months of wear. Just had their first wash recently by accident. Had them on the floor of someone's place and they decided to do laundry in the morning. Using regular detergent (probably too much) and they weren't even turned inside out
