Is that shoulder measurement seam to seam? it seems a full inch wider than other cucinelli's I've tried on in a 50

The measurement pulling the shoulders taut was 48 cm which comes to 18.89 in. Now I checked my measurements against all the measurements of size 40/50 Cucinelli's on e-bay and perhaps you should do the same. Mtobis, luxurypalace and Sartoriale all give 19 inches as the shoulder width on their size 40/50 jackets and the style Sartorial features is the same style jackt I'm offering here. Frieschky's, VIPcouture gave 18.75 in as their shoulder width on 40/50's so 1/10 of an inch difference- 10 times less variance than you suggest . Goldlableny and Dovr give 18.5 , costumelimite gives the measurements in cm at 48 cm's exactly as my measurements and Sanrobby gives 47 cm . Obviously different styles may show variant dimensions and if they are truly handmade- as Brunello tells us. this too would make slight variations in dimensions possible. No one on e-bay gave the 17.9 inches you suggest as a shoulder width, so I don't know what style jackets you were trying on, but they don't seem available on e-bay. There was 1 patchpocket style by Goldlabelny at 18 in and 1 more at 18.25. I bought this jacket, by the way, within 1 hour's drive of Solomeo, where they are made.
