I've been considering a pair of PDC jeans-- any suggestions on which model is flattering to most? I don't want something too slender/ tight lookin.

Does anyone know of an online source for Pantherella socks? I may be leaning toward these as my favorite, only because they wash/ dry on the rack better than all of my other brands. I like the new Zegna line of socks, even bought a pair-- but no WAY are they worth $40, more than Brioni socks.

The GTO and GTS if still available are quite a nice fit. It is not "slim" as their copy says. One point about PDC: they will not last as long as a standard levis. I've worn out one pair in the space of two years.

Foxx, The link below is for Pantherella from Alex Kabbaz, a forum member. http://<a href="http://www.customshi...aPix01.htm</a> Here's another on-line link (Mark Berman). http://<a href="http://www.bermanbas...rella.html</a> For what it's worth, the Maus & Hoffman solid, precise-sized socks (made in Italy) are available in over-the-calf and are durable (about $19.50 each). I wear the Pantherella solid wool socks in winter and the Maus & Hoffman with lighter weight slacks. Hope this helps.

FOXX: Sierra Trading post has tons of Pantherella, at great prices. Both dressy nylon, cotton wool blends and all cotton, for jeans and khakis.

I've purchased tons of Pantherella from them.

Sierra Trading Post looks like a good source for Pantharella merino wool over-the-calf socks, the kind I find most comfortable. Now if I could just find them in a dark olive color. I can't stand having a lighter color sock than trouser.

I'm sorry, but what socks are worth $20 to $40 a pair?

Bradford &lt;-- currently wearing a pair of Gold Toes that are quite comfortable, thank you.

Foxx, the widest fitting standard 5-pocket jeans are &quot;LTD.&quot; They are slightly snug in the back but much less so than Diesels, Energies or designer jeans. The company calls them regular fit, but I would call them relaxed. PDCs tend to run big, I usually order a size down but slimmer fit, but if you don't want it hugging your butt, a pair in your size should be fine.

I saw some RLPL Cashmere socks that were at a RL outlet on their purple label clearance sale (50% off) and additional 35% off and were still $70. They felt wonderful, but wtf... how do you justify $215 for a pair of socks?

The GTO is a nice, slim, but not excessively fitted, jean. I buy them in my normal size -1 (32), and they are a little looser in the waist than most other makers, but flattering, especially around the but and thighs. I also like slighly baggy jeans (a holdover from my youth, I guess) and then I'll buy the ICON in my normal size (33) which I think are closer to 34 or 35 by any normal standard. I really need to wear tighter tops when I wear those jeans to avoid looking like I just shrunk a couple of sizes.
