Jeans with an odd jacket, the right way

I don't necessarily approve of the outfit in entirety, but I think Man of Kent provides a notable example of how an adult male should wear jeans with a tailored odd jacket. They are low enough on the waist to be appropriate for denim, but only just low enough. They have a nice clean line down the leg, but remain very slim. There's no acute bunching or tightness anywhere. No distressing or stacking. They're worn like jeans, but the way a well-dressed grown-up ought to wear them. Bring it on, Teger.

I think that works. I'm not a fan of sweater vests, though.

As I commented in WAYWRN, I think he should ditch the sweater and chain. They are too fussy and formal to be worn with jeans, in my opinion.

I agree this, this is a good example of jeans and a jacket although there are so very few examples.

No. I flew to Kent and snapped a photo of him as he happened to be posing just so.

, why don't you leave your junior partnership at Wachtell to launch your own photoblog, taking pictures of other people instead of yourself, like the Sartorialist before his head got all swelled up. You could give it your own particular strangely obsessive flavor... "Optimus Prime Style"... "The Full Iammatt"... "Outfit with the most CITES certificates"...

We were in Toys"R"Us yesterday and they had the 25th anniversary Optimus Prime. The original where his fists go into the headlight holes, and the trailer. I should have bought it for myself.

I'm generally not a fan of jeans and odd jackets but this is a good example of how it can be done well.

I like. Nicely done. Although the chain on the coke vial is showing, the cops may notice. Just saying.

Nicely done.

I recall another member who did the jeans with SC very nicely. I think he was featured on the Sart and was wearing a RLPL hacking jacket with the slanting pockets. Anyone have a pic ?

I think NOBD also does this well.
