Shoes like that are considered to be "over sophisticated" in many psichology articles. You could ask what that mean? well nobody likes people who shine too much, thus keeping in mind the model, I would think something like italian made mocasinos, they shouldnt be expensive.

I highly recomend not to wear shoes that shine too much.

And also I have a question. Why black?

hustlenflo22, what do you particularly have in mind? If it`s about the psichology thing that I have mentioned, All I wanted to say, that people, who wear "too much wax/shine shoes" most commonly have psychological problems, and people who have analytical sort of overview over people`s appearance have a great opportunity to put an ironical smile on their face while seeing such shoes.

plus from my own experience, women don`t like that type of shoes. here again we could discuss american-us differences in culture, I don`t know... maybe in Us it is highly recomended to wear smth like that, but I highly doubt it.

i think this is a good time for ddml to post his alden shells. if i remember they're black and worked well with jeans last time i saw a pic. That being said, I tend to prefer brown (or 4060s in #8...

So every single male in attendance at any given black-tie affair, political gathering, wedding, business meeting, etc. has psychological problems?

Supporting data please.....
