Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

Holland&Sherry's Crystal Springs from previous season had about 3 or 4 colours from memory. Not many left.

Have you checked the Cacciopoli jacketing bunch this season? Some of the checks WSL looks great, they're 300g on average. The Harrisons Indigo bunch is quite new and interesting, but may be too light at about 230g. I'm considering Dupioni silk myself, the texture looks delicious... they're...

Bespoke Summer Suit - Partial Lining?

5oz! Can’t see myself wearing something so lightweight. I’m in tropical and subtropical countries myself, but anything below 240g are quite shapeless. But each to their own! Keen to see LP’s latest books when I get to.

Lost Monarch - Official Affiliate Thread

Great stuff, Ian. Really liking the products so far. For thunder thighs like mine, they would unfortunately fit into the thigh measurement. Hopefully Lost Monarch makes looser fitting ones some day.

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

Might be a little too late to the party but fwiw, I think the below 3 are my favourites. Not taking into account what weave you'd like, these are high twists and the ones I have experience with. The Harrisons Frontier at 300g/10oz. Slightly drier hand and coarser feel to it, but nowhere near...

    Cloth Advise

The two up there are very different types of cloth, suit for different purposes and performance. If you're looking for an all rounder to wear in the summer, Harrisons has a bunch called Frontier, high twist wool at 300g. Fits for all purpose in Summer and doesn't look shiny (not worsted). Heaps...

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

I would not discount the whole idea just yet. It looks like that only when I focus the camera on the texture from a very very close distance. Otherwise it works just as fine as a suit to me.

Can confirm its one of my favourite cloths around. Holds its shape super well. Feels great on the skin too.

Can anyone shed some light on H Lesser's LGB vs Taylor &Lodge's LGB? Are they essentially the same mill distributing to different merchants, or are they different?

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

I'd say so. Would probably wear slightly warm 25 and upwards in the southern hemisphere where we are, but I've been more than happy with my 4-ply in the past 2 years of owning it. Jacket has been worn as a separate most of the time, with no issues. I don't perspire that much, I can wear them...

Bresciani Socks: Soft as tissue paper...discuss

I use mainly both Mazarin and Bresciani and yes, Mazarin is definitely alot sturdier but I find myself more at home with Bresciani. Way more comfortable, and also especially I live in the tropics and still want to wear OTC. Other brands are a bit too thick for me.
