Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread)

Is anyone here based in Japan by any chance? There's a special on Yohji being broadcast on NHK tomorrow night. Would be amazing if someone can record it. BS1スペシャル「ヨウジ ヤマモト〜時空を超える黒〜」[字][再] 1月2日(土) 01:30〜02:20 放送時間 50分 Ch.101 NHKBS1

Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread)

Kind of pointless to argue about which YYPH size corresponds to which S/M/L size seeing that most people can wear most sizes, it depends more on what kind of fit you want. Best to go to a store that sells YYPH and try on a few things in different sizes to get a feel for it. YYPH sizing is fairly...

O Project has a website now including a list of stockists...seems like it's still only available in Japan. But might help hunting down pieces for a proxy purchase for anyone who's interested. https://www.o-project.be/

Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread)

Ragtag was quite disappointing at both the Shibuya and Harajuku locations. Stuff that wouldn't even move on Y!jp in a million years, and surprisingly high prices. 10tow on the other hand was great. More basic/staple type pieces, but a good selection (~20 jackets, 50+ shirts, etc) and range of...

Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread)

Any advice on where to find vintage Yohji in japan other than the big resale shops like ragtag? I'm going to Tokyo, Okayama, Osaka, and Kyoto. I remember finding a few vintage shops that specialized in Yohji a while ago while browsing Rakuten, but can't remember their names anymore...

I've been following the launch on Instagram, so far it seems like it's Japan-only. I'm definitely tempted to proxy one of those hoodies though.

to sell, I would list for a reasonable price on here and sufu and stylezeitgeist, and for a higher price on grailed. i wouldn't advise to list on ebay, i've seen stuff end much lower there than it should. for buying the market is really bad right now, ebay is 99% junk, grailed is overpriced...

^ Agreed. The seditionaries references are really well done, they somehow fit coherently into Yohji's world. Of course it's not his first nod to Vivienne Westwood, but certainly the most literal one. I also liked the looks with two guys walking together, they felt like a nod to The Men in the...

Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread)

Is it possible to get into the show without an invitation these days, or are those times over? I used to sneak into Paris shows a lot, but haven't done it in the last few years and heard security is much tighter nowadays. Just found out I'll be in Paris for work next week so it would be fun to...

Btw the yak knit was also made in a more regular sweatshirt silhouette but it looks like not as many stores picked it up http://rizmcloset.fashionstore.jp/items/2219102

Once you know what size your are in Jan-Jan you can pretty much just buy pieces in that size blind. So I wouldn't recommend getting a different size. Also not sure where you're located but if it's outside America OC don't do any returns/exchanges whatsoever.
