Manhattan is my favourite, I also enjoyed Radio days, Stardust memories, Broadway Danny Rose and Annie Hall and but none of them really reach Manhattan level
Generally agree with your assessment. I think Husbands and Wives is surprisingly effective; Manhattan Murder Mystery and Mighty Aphrodite are, IMO, surprisingly lame.

i love the 70s stuff, but i also really like later era woody allen. the less he's in the movie, the better.

Mighty Aphrodite was, I thought, boring and unfunny. I much preferred Bullets over Broadway. I especially enjoyed the horridness of the dialogue of the play.
