Spent some time this weekend giving these a good polish. Simon had given these a bit of polish during his QC, before sending my way.

I used navy pate de luxe wax and water for shines on the toe and heels. I used neutral pate de luxe on the heel stack sole edges.

One odd thing I noticed was that the left shoe shined up really quickly compared to the right shoe.

Night and daylight shots included.

I’m not a big boots guy so I’m kinda indifferent on the last but I think that leather really works with that design.

Without a doubt the leather looks amazing ... Hatchgrain is slowly becoming one of my favourite leathers...

I am in talks with another maker to do a Chelsea boot in Saddle Brown Hatch Grain...

Joe, I see your shoes featured on the (new?) Wayman Facebook page! Man, those are beautiful.

I might have missed it if you reviewed the fit, either here or in the Chinese thread. I'd be eager to hear from any of you who have received your shoes.

Thanks man! I haven't had a chance to review the overall fit since I'm 100% work from home since March. Based on initial try on, they fit me pretty well (Simon and I went back and forth like 4 to 5 times about my measurements). Tiny heel slip before break in which is normal, plenty of wiggle room for the toes, no pinching on the sides for pinky or big toe that I've experienced in other shoes like GG TG73 normal width, hugs my medium arches well, and the vamp is snug. The only area where the fit could be suspect or improved at this point is the instep/facing area, but time will tell with that area as I wear them over time.
