My question is that if messenger bags aren't cool, what do you carry your books/laptop in? A backpack?
If you want your hands to be free, shoulders are really the only legitimate option.

Actually, this forum is about fashion. And style. And, uh, "sartorialism". This is a forum where people go to talk about clothes. If "fashion" sounds too gay for you you can pretend to be interested in some kind of synonym for it, but you'll still be a dumbass for disliking messenger bags.

Fair enough, I think I'm starting to understand. So far I've learned that disliking messenger bags on men makes me a dumbass and " beyond narrow minded ". But branding someone with these labels for an opinion not shared by the forum is the height of tolerance and acceptance.

It became a bit funny then you mentioned some army crap thing, like that would make you more of a man. Messenger bags are practical for everyday purpose, what is there not to like? - Unless you have a job/study that does not require books, laptops documents or anything

You're catching **** not because of disliking messenger bags (**** messengers I think they're ugly), it's calling them "manbags" and "gay". There's a pretty prevalent idea out there floating around where anything remotely stepping away from the normal **** is instantly labeled unmanly, gay, or effeminate, which is entirely bullshit and crops up so ******* often around here. That's where you fucked up.

Not sure how accepted this guy is here, but related.

Let's just call it a satchel. I mean, satchels carry cool things, right?

Awesome.

And FWIW, I don't know why uncontrol catches so much **** around here based on what he wears. Sure he dresses like a dude from a creepy anime porno, but it takes a set of nuts to pull of what he wears without looking totally weird.
