Only $313. Used (well, it says it's used but the soles look clean in the pics), but damn they're sexy.

Seen some sweet suede 14oz v Trickers this past weekend in Berlin at 14oz as well as other collaborative styles with Trickers. I didn't get a covert pic as there was a shoe sales guy around. Did get some Cabourn snaps, though.

If you're going to spam, be transparent about it. Hate when people try to hide that ****. "Music for the Masses" and "M4TM" isn't hard to connect

Yeah, those are sexy as ****. Would cop in a heart beat at $313. I just got my black reverse leather with the side zips from Barneys the other day and I've been steady ogling them ever since.

Looking for a pair of low boots/chukkas that I can wear with my jeans that one would consider dressier then desert boots but not over the top (I like to keep 'er simple and casual). I need something that can go well with dark denim/dress shirt/maybe a blazer and won't break the bank (i.e. cheap). I don't like wearing shoes with jeans, I'd really like to stick with the chukka/low boot style.

I've been drooling over Trickers (especially those brogue boots, they gave me a full on broner) and Aldens but I'm afraid that even if those are boots that will outlast me...I can't afford them.

Suggestions? I'd be willing to consider something off B&S (I'll be tossing up some stuff in a few weeks, maybe we can do a trade) if it catches my eye.

Take a look at Loake. For the money, they're pretty decent. They're considerably cheaper than the brands you mention.

I have the Loake Banks in distressed brown leather and the Loake Trapper. The latter is like a desert boot with a leather sole. Some won't like the squarish toe though.

Obviously they're not Alden's, but they're not too bad at all considering they're quite cheap. Especially the 1880 collection.
