Doesn't look too real to my eye. Sort of the "Real Butter" version of Astrakhan. That collar is atrocious.
UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here

The Astrakhan collar and lapel are removable. I usually wear my coat with an all black Astrakhan.A little extravagant, Mr Davide Tofani wearing an overcoat with collar and lapels in cotton pile astrakhan imitation (like that he made for @brax, to see in the black tie thread).

It is not “real” Astrakhan. For me, the real fur is harvested unethically. I have no interest in the real thing.Doesn't look too real to my eye. Sort of the "Real Butter" version of Astrakhan.

Less ethically challenging but not completely so. Think ivory sales.I find old Astrakan coats, usually women's, in the thrift stores pretty regularly. It would be easy to scoop one off eBay, as they don't resell very well, and repurpose it into a collar or whatever.
