Wes you generously sent me a whole set of studs and links that all match as an extra in a trade I would happily send them to you since I am going to wear a shirt that does not require studs for my ball rig since I am getting it made to measure because I am such a weird size I figured I might get versatility and get a spread collar with French cuffs...

It was $30 and had a few sports I thought I could get out but not 100% sure, PLUS I already had an overflowing cart of stuff.

The suit itself was actually pretty nice. On par or nicer then Z- Zegna, fully canvassed, etc. It is actually a top top top of the line Jos A Bank suit called "Signature Platinum" and was only sold in their top retail store for something like $1800+.

If you're going back there anytime soon and any of those were suits, I'd definitely be willing to take a chance on that. And of course will report back to the thread!

I decided to take a chance and went back for some wrinkled ties. Half off day was a bonus. $7 for all of them.

I picked the 5 best BB and left about 10 more as well as a bunch more vintage repps from smaller name stores. They must have all come frome the same dude. Only 1 is lined. I'll report back on how it worked out.

My favorite though, is this vintage unlined wool number. :slayer:

Morning out with not much for results. All of these from my last stop:

Orvis Made In England moleskin sport coat (40L). Antler buttons?

Allen Edmonds Alpine boots. 11.5 B. Still need some more cleanup but they looked rougher a little bit ago. Left a few more AE that looked worse.

Not sure if these were worth a pickup but fit so keeping for myself...
Bata shoes. Crepe sole. Made in Italy

From the looks of it most of the Marshalls stores are completely out of anything worthwhile from the clearance sale and are back to same old junk they usually stock.

I've never seen a pair before, can someone authenticate.

The tags look pretty consistent with the ones I've seen. I vote real.

The chocolate brown pinstripe is the jacket to the prl corneliani I posted last week (possibly already taken by a member). All of the rest are from today...the VTG brooks overcoat must weigh 15lbs (unavailable).

The tweed with the elbow patches is an off brand, and the other jacket with no label pic is hugo boss.

Only thing from yesterday

Polo corneliani sc, dual vent, ticket pocket, tagged 46r. Available

Hit one stop out from running errands.

Picked up a Pendleton shirt and this. It doesn't compare to that PRL but thrift synergy is crazy because the patterns look similar.

Edit: All of this Corn PRL makes my Macau made jacket look measly!!!

Here are a couple of firsts for me, but sad news for one of them. Like I mentioned earlier, for 50c it was worth the pickup, but my little research so far says it is probably a lost cause. Any one with a risky treatment or suggestion is welcome.

Assuming you like it and want to keep it, mail it to Rave Fabricare. I've sent them much worse and they've worked miracles. They also don't have the four-tie minimum that Tie Crafters does.

I'd advise against treating it yourself. If you do go that route, don't rub the silk and don't use "the treatment" (Oxyclean) that I think someone suggested at one point.
