Check the pants as I just passed a pair with holes in the back.Cucci is a first for me! Cool MCM chair and some other nice vintage. Hard to find my way to the thrifts with all of the smoke in town. Unfortunately the bike jersey is too small for me or I'd keep it. Sort of an off-beat question: why do so many people give away perfectly good books? I routinely find works from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th century in perfect condition - absolutely invaluable volumes! The kind of books that are essential to any good library or liberal education.
Who was the better captainFound a few t-shirts today. A good portion appear to be deadstock.

Han Solo, duh.Who was the better captain
I haven't ever found an antiquarian book at a thrift store. And I've tried for years to build such a library. Thrifting is a regional activity. I can imagine that someone living near Cambridge might thrift books regularly. Someone in Detroit might thrift soul records.
But the answer to the question: "Why do people give away X" is almost always because they died or downsized and they can't take it with them.
This so cool. I'd love to know the story behind these. If some 10 year old wore them to school, I bet they had a rough day ahead.
