size down?

I think you'd need a S. Go with the same size you got in the WvG sweaters. I bought an XS (fall version) and love how it fits, but based on your classifieds, I think you're a decent size bigger than me.

The spring version seems to fit slimmer than last fall's. I was interested in one andrewryanwallace snagged at the sample sale last month. He sent some fit picks and it looked slouchy on him, ie the way I would want it to fit, except I'm usually a large and he's a medium. **** that was such a clean edition too.

Was the intarsia sweater (the one with a print on the ribbing on the collar, hem, and cuffs) indicative of normal Ervell sizing or did it run really small? I got it a size large when I'm normally a medium in most clothing and it is still too small. Will probably put it on B&S.

Yes the ribbed sweater ran tiny, not sure wtf the deal with that was. I have a size large if anyone wants it.

Also the baseball knit fit for spring is intended true to size, dot liked how the large looked on me but I honestly think it was too big, it kinda worked in a very oversized way but i think that has more to do with me being able to pull stuff off. The medium looked way better on me. definitely still slouchy but looked more like it was made for me versus the large which actually looked a size large. I do still have it for sale.

The sleeves aren't intended to have any stacking I think. They fit exactly the right length on me, any shorter and it would be too short and the rest of the if the body and shoulders are quite relaxed. I think the relaxed shoulders offset the shorter sleeves.

So I went over to visit Independence again here in Chicago as I usually do and spoke to Timothy for a bit. (S/O to him, great guy)
They have a lot of backstock Ervell from when Shrine used to be there awhile back. But it's mostly L/XL sizes. A few mediums though.
It's all half off from original price, so shoot them over a message if you guys are interested!

What I saw available (THIS IS ALL F/W'12 Stuff I believe):
Standard/Unstructured Blazers in sizes 42+.
Electric Blue Lightweight Baby Alpaca Sweaters. (Small, and then L to XL)
White Standard Button Downs from sizes M-L (An XL one too I believe)
Many Knit Polos in Burgundy, Tan, and Electric Blue. (M-L, but fit very slim)
Navy Jeans in 32-36.

And I believe a bit more, but it escaped my memory.
Going to stop in again this Friday to pick up something and I'll take another look then and shoot some photos if he'll allow.
Otherwise if anyone is those larger sizes and is interested shoot over an e-mail at Independence.
