I'm afraid I can't disagree, although I thought the tweed overcoat looked nice as well. Frankly I'm counting down the days until July 28th (or whatever day dawn wolf said the new stuff is dropping).

he either has a celine contract (I feel like this is unlikely given he doesn't have Lisa star power status) or (more likely) he/his stylist is buying up Celine en masse for him to wear head to toe because it seems like he is always wearing it.
so i guess then him buying it up in large quanitity resulted in being invited to shows, and now being photographed
Interesting I work at SL and theres no way this would've happened back when he was CD. Wiz shopped alot at beverly hills too and still would've been rejected. I guess they were more selective then. We would get alot of high profile clients requesting to work with the brand and they would always be rejected. Times have changed!

I'm just speculating and have no basis for my thoughts, but I don't think this would be the case. I guess he just dropped enough $$$ to the point they decided to invite him to shows as an incentive for him to continue buying, and he's at least high profile enough to then invite to preshow events etc. with other celebs where he had the chance to meet Hedi.

Wiz, if you're lurking this thread, please let us know

My speculations:
  • Hedi is into Wiz and his work
  • Hedi knows Wiz genuinely is into his work
  • Hip hop/streetwear is a focus at CELINE HOMME, so it makes sense for Hedi to showcase these artists
It seems like the bias makes everyone forget how Hedi likes Justin Bieber and other celebrities, like Lady Gaga.

TikTok has made everyone's brain rot and attention span to become so short and forget Hedi showcasing Leikeli47. Hedi showcasing Wiz is not out of left field at all.

Hip hop may be the new rock n roll but rock n roll is the new bourgeois.

CELINE launched the new collection The Age of Indieness. Now available on their e-boutique and in stores.

Moreover, there have been a price increase for many items

Ugh. The price increase puts the calf biker, which I’ve been hoping to get for the past few years, out of reach for me.

I'm sorry, but anyone saying that "rock and roll is the new bourgeois" should immediately be put to the death in the electric chair. I just don't see how as a society we can tolerate that
What you currently consider as "classical" music wasn't always that.

Hedi-approved violinist playing Gluck:

How do you think people expressed rebellion before rock?
Hedi: Rock music pretty much catalyzed rebellion in the mid-50s and the understanding that there was some kind of time capsule between childhood and adulthood, which was challenging and explosive, to say the least. Besides, we can still go back to the 18th Century, to the court of Versailles, and figure out that music and new sounds were always the sign of some sort of rebellion. When Marie Antoinette imported [Christoph Willibald] Gluck to wake up the dance floor in the dusty Galerie des Glaces and displayed her elaborate hairstyle, she was being a rebellious teenager.

What was once rebellious and new, that becomes established, will eventually become classical.

Hip hop may be the new rock n roll but rock n roll is the new bourgeois.

Was just at the Paris store. Really gorgeous and well appointed. Surprised how many people in Paris are wearing Celine maybe because it’s Saturday
Like what? Logo tees?

Definitely logo t’s but also bucket hats casquettes lots of shoes and lots of bags. I saw some of the skirts on women and a loose dress shirt too. Not only tourists but français. It might be Fashion week because some people were in avant garde on the streets.
