Okay, so Guidis then. I reverse searched that pic and it lead me back to this thread to a post by dmash seven months ago. Am I missing something?

they were from a store called "by george" in texas, just google them and if those back zips are not available try pn\p, pn\p does custom orders as well

Oh yeah, Scott from ByG is a great person to deal with, bought both my Guidis from him.

My main concern with my high instep is that it doesn't seem to hurt when simply trying on unless it is really tight but it tends to hurt after about 3-4 hours of wear and by then the boots will likely be un-returnable so I really have to commit to the boots. Maybe I can wear it around the house in carpet for that long to test it out?

Any suggestions for an olive/gray tone side zip or lace up similar to the Guidi 995 (in terms of lacing style/shaft height)

Let me reiterate this part:
Augusta double zips wrinkle boot
Half the appeal of this boot is the distressing. Don't enable bad decisions. That would just be a dick move.
And note the original to see why it'd be a bad decision:

^^I find the spiral zip design on the tornado zips so much more interesting-
