i'm thinking about buying guidi, but not sure, because it rains a lot where i live. How do you care for them? With a regular shoe usually i use shoe trees and rotate them, to get them dry. Do you use shoe trees with guidi, i think not, how do you get them dry?

What's the general opinion on Bottega Veneta? Came across the name multiple times and wanted to know what SF thinks about quality.

Also a question about Guidi sizing, people say they are very small and sizing up is needed.
I wear 41 in most boots and 42 in Adidas/Nike Sneaker (sometimes 42,5). In CPs I'm betweem 40 and 41 (wearing 40 atm but would prefer 41 I guess). Do you guys think a Guidi 43 would fit me?
I see people wearing 40 in CPs wearing 42 in Guidi, so...
thanks for info in advance!

Depends on the leather. Some stretch less, but it will most likely be 1-1.5 sizes up.

Bottega definitely puts out high quality leather goods, but their aesthetic is different from the aesthetic most people in this thread are looking for.

...and after spending too much, I put down a deposit on a pair of the Layer 0's for IA in black. Yay for credit cards?

But as a seattle-ite the idea of a PNW based last plus Layer 0 plus cordo is too good to pass up on.

The shoes are all? (Maybe only boots?) built on a last that was based on a logging boot from the Pacific Northwest around the turn of the century.

41 RAF/CP (40 is slightly too small), 42 Guidi lace-up boots wearing with insoles. Not sure if other leathers/models fit different.
