i've read poor reviews of officine which has made me hesitant, there are few items that looked interesting in stores but hearing about them falling apart after 6 months makes me think suspicious quality control.

see thats definitely important, i want a boot i can beat up that wont fall apart, butteros seem cool, any other brands you can recommend? something fairly available

got some suggestions then?

Do some research dude.....I gave you a pretty good brand list and other people have offered solid opinions. There's no other magical option for you that's going to be awesome styling/durable/$300.

Ah yeah not a fan of trickers style shoes at all. Hate broguing. Don't like the light tan they have in the sole/welting. Don't like metal eyelets especially when contrasting. Don't like the laces. Have to say those are reasonably sleek for trickers too. Especially hate the trickers with chunkier soles. Glad other people like them though :) Less competition for things I do like :)

Quote: Barneys only carries the brown and black workboots, look at Rakuten or other Japanese stockists and you'll see the full extent of their line, pretty much bottoming out at $600 with many at $800+

The Z9 is probably Simone's best style; the Z9 in oiled horse was beast.
