I for one am happy to have choices. There are plenty of places to get #8 LWBs on leather soles.

^ Alden should rename it the "crap" sole in honor of all the **** that gets stuck to the bottom of your shoe at the end of each day. It's like stepping on gum with your entire foot, then walking around the block...

Agreed. It's not like JCrew is monopolizing Alden's color 8 cordovan.
Perhaps I'd understand if they were buying up all of Alden's whiskey, ravello, and color 4 and putting them all on crepe soles.

crepe soles are the bane of my existence. i must have found at least 4 makeups i really wanted in the last 5 months... but crepe soles.
