I am traveling through Europe and am currently in Barcelona. I stopped by a shop named Santa Eulalia today. They carry high end men's and women's clothing. They also have a small selection of Aldens. This make-up caught my eye. It is an unlined wing-tip. As you can see, the wing-tip is created by stitching, rather than an additional piece of shell. I didn't purchase them, but thought I would share some shots of them with everyone.

came home to another package, been a good week. excuse the horrible pic, I snapped them quick

CXL wingtips from leathersoul and some #8 captoes from here on SF, courtesy of herrmj

have never tried the modified last, figured buying used would be an easy (cheaper) way to see if my foot agreed with it. lucky for me it does

They look just like the "dressy wingtip" make up for J Gilbert, only the J Gilbert shoe is on the plaza last and this one looks much more rounded; maybe barrie or modified last?? The single leather outsole makes it look lighter too.
