Katch: Anyone have any pics of a BB #8 tassel on double leather sole with antique edge?


RTP: No such thing. Alden will not make any of its slip-ons (tassels, LHS, etc...) on a double leather sole. Not sure I have ever seen the color 8 tassels with antique edge.

I have (err ...had) a BB color 8 tassel with antique edging (done by BNelson). The edging went back to black.

While I believe RTP's statement to be generally true (and, as I recall, the same statement was made on this thread by the esteemed Mac as well), I note that I have whiskey LHS with a double leather antique sole. And that is how I bought them (from Alden DC). A rare bird indeed.

Hard to believe it has already been 12 years since the WTCs attack ....

The shoemart seconds email is like the fantasy football waiver wire on Tuesday morning.
I had to wake up at 5:50 am on Tuesday to pick up a surging bronco TE.

Does anyone own model 29364F - the unlined CXL PTB? The seconds email lists that it is on the Leydon last, but with a little research I saw it pop up on several retailer websites as the Barrie last, like here from Alden SF.

They also have basically the same shoe, only in tan suede (model 29332F) also listed as being on the Leydon. I'm guessing this is wrong and it's actually Barrie as well?

Also I have lists for 12, 12.5 and 13 in various widths.

Haha. Just got it. Quite a long wait on the phones. Must be a lot of SF members on there! Snagged a pair of Indy 403. Can't beat that for $299 for a daily fall/winter beater!
