Anybody know if these suede captoe are on the M58 or Barrie last:

Also are these exactly like the Aldens or ona different last:

Trying to pick a pair from the sale thanks.

I can't swear by it, but the suede captoes are most likely on the aberdeen last... the BB cordovan captoe bluchers are made on the aberdeen last. (I believe the M58 is only done with the BB PTB.)

The suede LHS should be on the Van last as the BB cordovan version is.

BB Captoes are Snap last, I believe. LHS is Van last, although some folks have said it's Copley.

I picked up a pair. They fit me pretty huge for Barrie last. I don't know if it's because Chromexcel is so stretchy, or the oiled sole makes them feel less stiff, but I was surprised since everything else Barrie in that size fits me a touch tight out of the box. The outsole is also pretty big adding further to the length of the shoe. They are otherwise simple, nice shoes, well suited to summer wearing.

Interesting...most of the calf shoes on barrie that I have fit better than my shells. For example...the PTBs I have for sale fit a smidge snugger than my barrie lasted shells. But they overlap wear wise with my shell PTBs, so moving them.

Quick question on sizing [because I can't seem to find a place that stocks E widths to actually try on]; how does a 9.5E in Barrie compare to a 10D?

it could work
