Yes, I dark welt, though dark brown as Alcibiades describes it. I myself also like it with the Ravello.

And these are relatively new. Been working on breaking them in. The socks are custom tie-dyed by the young relatives. It's become a traditional birthday and Christmas gift from them. I love it.

Cigar boot looking great. Almost looks like a color 8. Must have been a dark batch of cigar.

My cindies are pretty dark too. This is okay - it goes with my wardrobe and I already have whiskey/ravello - but I'm thinking that due to demand for lighter colors somebody might have decided to make cigar a little darker so that they could use a wider range of hides... maybe, maybe maybe...
