I am super excited about going to the PatP event this year. There's a Horween factory tour, a Woodlore factory tour, and obviously the AE tour.

Is the Horween factory tour invite only? I would absolutely love to attend!

I would have to ask the event organizer if there is more room. The tour is at 1pm this Friday in Chicago.

If you can make it happen (and AE offers the exact configuration you want) you should definitely pull the trigger! I still kick myself for not getting a Bourbon Shell Hamilton with 360 split-reverse welt on Double JR (among others).

Ummmmmmmmmm . . . OK. The upscale cycling commuter market is a weird, niche one to target, but maybe that's just where AE is at these days. I don't get this offering at all, but as a WFH guy, I'm nowhere near this target audience.

In the meanwhile, I'll just stick to the basics that fit my lifestyle and aesthetics, like the chili weatherproof Higgins Mill boot on a rainy Tuesday morning.
