Indeed. Though you could make the argument that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia got robbed.

MSN posted that they thought Tina Fey's comment was witty when she thanked the "dozens and dozens" of viewers.

That makes me really happy. 30 rock is absolutely fantastic. Probably the best comedy on television right now.The Office is good and all, but i don't think it quite matches 30 rock.

As for It's always sunny in Philadelphia, i really don't think it's half as witty or clever as the writers think it is. I like the show and watch it from time to time, but some of the gags, plots and jokes are a bit contrived and trying to be subtle and witty, while making their attempts very obvious.

30 Rock is the closest thing to Arrested Development there has been since the show went under. Oh, and that's a really good thing. I was really skeptical of 30 Rock when it first came out and tried to resist the hype, but genuinely fell in love with it.

How was ryan seacrest? I didn't watch it but was kind of dissapointed with the choice since Conan hosted the year before and was the only reason i watched.

I thought 30 Rock from the Sun went off the air years ago.

What's encouraging, is that NBC is putting all those shows on thursday night together and almost saying "*******. we'll give em' one night at least". Sure, they'd get better ratings on thursdays with a hot reality show or crime drama but it seems they're throwing a bone to fans of good television, which is nice. I mean, even if The Office, which is getting pretty popular, was handled like Arrested Development or Futurama where they kept moving the timeslots around from week to week and pairing them against monster shows like survivor, friends, etc, it might be nearing cancellation this season. At least NBC seems to be on our side for the time being.

I have to say, there hasn't been anything new on TV that gets me in stitches like Always Sunny does.

Also I don't really see what you mean about the writers trying to sound wittier than they are...
