Only as far as Muir Woods. Right now I'm in some place called Carmel or Carmel by the Sea at Doris Day's inn.

Ha. You went the wrong way, although Carmel is pretty nice in a certain way.The central coast is beautiful.
Nepenthe down in Big Sur is touristy but worth a stop for a beer, the view, and the history.

I used to get the same feeling when going the opposite direction. Part of it was probably just being happy about leaving SF.

This place is lousy with dogs. I had no idea I was walking into a kennel.

Any SF Sfers willing to proxy for me by taking a pair of my jeans to Self Edge (718 Valencia) to get repaired? Apparently, they're the only place in the country that can fix my jeans the way I want, and they only accept walk-ins for this. Wish I knew in June.

Thanks,
Huntsman

Huntsman,

I can, let me know what you need. I'm actually picking up my Iron Hearts this week. I'll let you know how they turned out.
