I've been looking to buy a casual jacket that is something along the lines of what you'd see:

Booth from "Bones" or Dean from "Supernatural" wearing.

Excuse the imagery, but these are the only good examples of this type of jacket that I've seen. Can anyone recommend brands or specific jackets that look similar and aren't more than say 100 or so dollars? (If the jump start on visualizing what I'm looking for above wasn't enough...something like this [http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wc...1_12223_12202] but not this "heavy")

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Never seen Bones, but Supernatural is very Americana. I would recommend any of Levi's Trucker Jackets.

$68 unlined
$78 lined
$89.50 slim cut

Thanks for the tip, but do you know of any that aren't denim, I wear a lot of demin pants and to have a jacket made of the same material just doesn't look right to me....

Even just a heavy overshirt with the epaulettes and extra pockets would be along the lines of what I'm looking for.

What you want seems to be a variant of a field jacket. Whether anything at a retailer such as Lands' End or J.Crew is close enough to the Abercrombie jacket for your liking is another story.
