After much deliberation (and perhaps a bit too much time spent scrolling through endless options), I finally took the plunge on a couple of pieces that I've had my eye on for a while. First up, I snagged a pair of beautifully crafted leather boots from a small, artisan workshop. The craftsmanship is simply out of this world, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they age with wear.

ahh it was not meant to! just an observation that wearing these 3 things together are the skeleton for "the look" of winter nyc downtown in recent years.
they all look good though, the thumb is supposed to communicate this

Well, I had written off getting any of this. But, when the universe presents it all at 50% off in my size, I take it as a sign. This line pretty much sold out in the US but is on clearance at a lot of EU shops. I feel like it could be paired well with Aran knits and leather hiking boots. If I wind up looking ridiculous in it, I can always resell it to some hypebeast kid.

And, I'll probably grab this at some point to match the 50/50 down pants.
