Anyone have experience with Carb Night? I know Mark Bell has raved, but I haven't heard much about it from anyone else...

Getting a weird, sharp pain on the top of my foot at bottom of squat. Any thoughts what that could be?

Instead of buying something unhealthy this afternoon (like I always do), I brought my home made salat with quinoa and vegetables. Delicious and healthy!

Saying Hi and checking in.

Currently on 5/3/1 BBB

Most recent/heaviest lifts:

OHP: 52.5 kg x 2 (fml, suck bad at this)
Bench: 77.5 kg x 5 (also sucks)
Squat: 120 kg x 2
Dead x 170 kg x 2

34 years old, 190cm, 88 kg.

Been lifting for a bunch of years, but without any consistency and with bullshit programming (in case you couldn't tell from my lifts). But really happy, and making good strides with 5/3/1.
Aiming for 100 kg Bench, 70 kg OHP, 150 kg Squat, and 200kg Deadlift in the short term (6 months).

From Yorope, hence the superior metric weights.

squatted without a belt today after doing my main squats. Only managed 140kgx1, feels bad, but kind of good since I put a belt on at 100kg usually. Form felt very different, unracking the bar was weird and I had to descend much slower.

Wrapping up 1-month back in the gym. Had to take off since early May until late August b/c membership expired, and I was working abroad.

Started stronglifts the first day back in school - and now back up to where I was pre-break. feelsgoodman. Feels so good for the body to be getting solid again. Feeling squishy and soft is disgusting.

Anyone know any good gyms in the DC area near GWU? Gonna be there for the next month.
