I haven’t seen this thread in SF come up yet, but I am very interested to see each members Canadian/Japanese denim fades that they have acquired over the years. I would post a picture but the best pair I had I had to throw away since my size got larger. Let’s see those fades!

Okayama Denim x Japan Blue 18oz Sapphire Slub.
After 2 years of wear. Now 3 years old and don’t really fit any more unfortunately. Were my favorite jeans for a while.

These are a pair of Strike Gold mud dyed weft SG2105, after about 2-3 months of wear and one wash. I know they aren’t much but I am still working on them. The best fades I ever had were on an Unbranded jeans long ago which I could not wear anymore.

Heh. Hank-dyed aizome Pure Blue Japan AIBK-013, worn for a full year in the 2020-2021 Indigo Invitational Fade Contest.

I participated as little more than a joke since the contest start coincided with my decision to get this pair, and I was working from home and could get away with denim 24/7.

I didn't expect much fade given the resilience of the material and didn't get much either, but I definitely have an awesome pair of well-worn jeans now! :D

Been wearing these Eternal 811 BiG on and off for about 12 years now. Need to get the crotch reinforced and some stitching fixed soon so I just washed them again
