Same time period, same 6.0L, the electric Recaros (these came on RUFs and other cars of the era as well).. so it was well over $300K in Japan when new, possibly a lot more, considering the E-class to SL-class jump up. Seems odd the R107 is that much more expensive than a real Hammer, though.... Garage Current has some pretty sexy rides. This thing is awesome:

back to timeless car discussion, and to Jags again (hi Huntsman)... how is this:

I'd say that is pretty timeless, they could put it out today with minor detail changes and it'd look contemporary... This Jag too... while not necessarily timeless, pretty ******* cool, cooler than an XJ220 even?

Don't know about all that. I just know it's pure car Appreciation. I'm a few years away but I would like to get an XJ13 or a D-type. Replica of course since you cannot get an origianl XJ13 and a D-type will set ya back 4 mill.


I'm planning to put my solstice gxp into storage for awhile and pickup a classic XJ6 for my daily driver. See how well that goes. LOL
