I found a really light scarf with a great floral pattern that I'd like to use as a pocket square, I don't have a pic of it but even though it requires a bit more folding, I don't think it looks bad at all. Am I committing a major fauxpas or would using a scarf as a pocket square be ok?

I guess, it depends on the material—I'm guessing it's cotton..? If it's too large, it may not fit smoothly in your pocket and, therefore, create an unsightly bulge..?! If you're happy with it, and as long as it goes with the jacket—do it!
