I also used to wear a jade pendant for a time- real jade always feels cool against the skin and is said to "cool down" ones temper- mine had a tiger encarved in it (Im a tiger year).

Hey, brutus, I'm okay with the length of that field jacket. To my view that's a proper length for that kind of jacket.

mine is a gwan yeum, good forture. Had it for 5 years, never taken it off, I'm amazed the necklace hasn't frayed through.

Eason: What language is "gwan yeum"? is it this character 寿? (yeum?) or: 喜?

Mine had not such a thick cord but only the "normal" bright red one- it fell off/wore off after only several months "naturally" (in the shower IIRC lol) and then I didnt put it on again...(life circs/place of residence had also changed etc)

I am, I'm moving to Jeju-Do island with my girlfriend in a couple of months to teach english and later hopefully start my own gym there.
