it seems that the site is screwy. i want the large black/grey gingham, but the page for it shows two totally different shirts and has no option for the black.

Probably human error.

I checked out the kids' sale section the other day for the first time and was blown away by the prices! They were as much if not more than a lot of the adult sale prices. No thank you.

I was in their store this arvo (bought the vintage button-down blue chambray) - they had what I assume is the new giant gungham in navy ... did not like. I couldn't comment on the fit as I didn't try it on or even look too closely at it, but the feel of the fabric was ... cheap. Wish I could say it better. But I'd suggest seeing it in person before ordering/buying.

Maybe because of S/S. I noticed some of my older stuff from S/S does'nt have button down collars either, and only the F/W did.

I'm not a fan of their lightweight shirting fabric.

That paired with lack of button down collars will prevent me from buying anything.

Yeah the fabric on the one I bought this season is pretty bad. I kept it anyways, I like the pattern enough. http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/Mens...2483/12483.jsp
