It's not her fault. I blame the writers of Esquire's Handbook of Style that she shamelessly lifted the terms from. It's, like, totally hard work to copy other people's work. Well, the one positive thing about this blog is that I now know that Keanu Reeves' beard makes him a sexy man-beast. Hotness

Zipped correctly? What?

I know what he meant, I'm just amazed by how narrow minded he is. The second zip is there for a reason.

The biggest problem with such blogs is that the writers often have two problems:

1. They're too confident about the pieces they pick, and their personal, subjective fashion opinions.
2. They write these subjective opinions as fact, without research.

This leaves you wide open for ridicule (in many cases deserved), and especially in fashion you won't be pleasing anyone (or even a majority).

Compound this with poor writing and veiled (rather than overt) advertising (if it is indeed advertising), and you have a recipe for disaster. That disaster, of course, being a full-scale lambasting from this forum...

I want to punch her in the face.

You'd punch a girl in the face? Pathetic.

If you disagree with this blogger, that's fine. If her opinion makes you mad, you've got issues. Your wardrobe is not 'above' anyone else's in the world. Sheknowbest's taste is just as valid as yours, it does not matter if we're arguing Ed Hardy vs. APC. Raw denim, perfect silhouettes, quality construction, etc. are things that people only like yourselves care about, the same way there are wine connoisseurs, art experts, action figure collectors, and so forth. If you prefer Two Buck Chuck to a vintage wine, what does it matter? You can defend the music of a classical genius until your face turns blue, but that's not going to make someone who listens to Lil Wayne change their mind. If you feel more confident in a Men's Warehouse suit then Italian bespoke, what does it matter?

All am saying is, you cannot dismiss other people's taste and think yours is superior, it's simply untrue, get over yourselves.
