I can't tell if you're being sarcastic. Can't you look into getting an exterminator?

Really? I remember immigrants blamed for pests when I grew up in Vancouver.

I live near Côte-des-Neiges and I've run into the occasional cockroach in my bathroom.
There has to be some other variable besides geography.

He comes at 8am on alternating Saturday mornings. I am either sleeping in somebody else's bed, or in mine in a deep alcohol-fueled slumber.

I haven't let him in for about 2 years now.

Enjoy it while it lasts. You may not have the chance for another for one for a long, long time.

You might want to let the exterminator treat you for head lice while he is there. It will save on bus fare to the free clinic.

I'm now in bed. Lights off. Just me and muh Blackberry.

I believe some Miley lyrics are apropos here:

"My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda homesick"

I have heard that cockroaches like plastic grocery bags. I remember some clause in my lease many moons ago warning about keeping a collection of plastic grocery bags. But what do I know.

Sorry man. It gets better. You'll get a job and have some money and you won't have to worry about **** like this.
