This is another thing that I think Chicago does right. Vienna beef on a steamed poppy seed bun, dragged through the garden with tomato, chopped onion, Mustard, lime green relish, sport peppers, kosher dill, and celery salt. Yum!

yeah dude, too much going on there. Focus on a good quality frank and you wont need to mask it with all of those strong condiments

A hot dog should be an all beef dirty water dog with ketchup mustard and kraut on a steam warmed bun.

Oh yeah and no Ketchup on a hotdog ever, nasty. There's joints in Chicago that won't even serve it to you if you ask.

Dang there's a lot going on there. I usually eat them with either ketchup/yellow mustard/relish or cream cheese/kraut/spicy mustard, but one time I told the cook to "go nuts" and he came up with something that was a lot like a muffaletta sandwich: butterflied Polish sausage with olive tapenade and melted swiss... pretty awesome. Anyway, thanks for making me hungry

I like Chicago hot dogs for what they are (cheap street food) but don't order mine 'Chicago style', don't skip the celery salt though!!

You don't get any better quality than Vienna beef.

I wanted to enjoy the Chicago dog. The brightly colored mustard and relish were off-putting, but the celery salt and sport peppers compensated. That being said, this thing just has too much sh!t on it.

*almost forgot - the dawg is lacking as well, and isn't this what it's really all about? Overall, an interesting but weird experience. B-

then why drown it in ****? The finest cuts of steak aren't drowning in A1, onions, peppers, blue cheese, mayo, dijon, bbq rub, cajun seasoning, then smothered in gravy...
