dandy enough Cox?

It's a step in the right direction.

Haven't seen you wear this jacket before DC, so perhaps it's new. Very nice, but I wish it was about an inch longer, or perhaps it's because the quarters are relatively closed.

Yellow tie, done well. Bravo.

Since @Pingson is around again (welcome back), thought academics should step up their game (though I see there are quite a few campus folks in this thread ).

Colors not great, sorry:herringbone navy jacket, blue/blue guncheck tie, check shirt, green/brown/rust/blue square, scotch grain bluchers.

Edit to correct for color issues:

Those look like beautiful pants, but their saturation appears to be overwhelming the top block. I'm not sure the pocket square is enough to tie it together.

Echoing Clag's sentiments. Plus, I think the shirt is a bit too businessy for the heavily textured jacket (which is lovely, by the way)

Now I'm intrigued to know who that is...
@in stitches nice article and great to see how you both master CM as well as SW&D.

Thanks, Elio!

Might be your monitor, because it is looking fine on my phone. Or maybe it's my phone that is off. :/

I thought I'd experiment today. Thrifted this union made Polo jacket for a few dollars to flip it on eBay but thought I'd wear it once since I don't have a grey odd jacket. It's a 43L (I am a 42R) with a very low buttoning point. Pink ocbd to pick up the red in the glen plaid, and a black knit because it gets lonely from not being worn ever. Grey flannel Polo trousers complete a northern lights look , BB shell tassel's and burgundy cashmere socks.

Fair point. A different fit would be tan pants so a standard navy blazer/tan trouser look. Not sure shirt would be too off kilter then (the chocolate pants do push this a bit more country).

What cloth for the trousers? These are wonderful.
Thanks, DL-
Sorry don't know the source. Flannels from Howard Yount that I think he must have a bunch of as the pants were available this season too. I'd say email Jamison but you're not likely to get a response.
