I just wanted to say that, though I have not purchased anything from you guys yet (out of the country until June), I most certainly am going to hit you guys up at some point. Everyone has said so many great things about the quality of the products—and the price really is superb.

Additionally, it's really cool to see this sort of transparency in a company. If I'm not making too gross of a generalization, fielding questions, suggestions, and etc. with a real, human voice isn't common for other brands in this price point. So yeah, keep that up.

PS—I'm gonna throw in my two coins by saying 1) the OCBD is definitely a good direction to go in, and 2) are you guys thinking of doing some more "unconventional" t-shirt designs? Perhaps some deeper v's, a swoop-neck, tank-tops, a henley or two (short- as well as long-sleeve option?), and perhaps some drape-y ****? From what I gather, you guys are sticking to basics, or staples—whether for ease-of-production purposes or cost—but it would be really awesome to see maybe one or two new t-shirt designs thrown in as "permanent" additions to the t-shirt selection.

Seconded. Would love to see an alternative to the classic "straight cut/ tight chest" model. Lots of designers are doing neat things with jersey (T by Alexander, Acne, Rick, all those Japanese brands to name a few)-- it's an interesting bandwagon to jump on

Target makes slim fit ocbd for $19 or <$10 on the clearance rack.
You guys just need to keep up the quality and try to do the Made in USA thing.

I think he may be talking about Frank and Oak, though I am not sure.

Haha, I can't believe you're the one to answer my question. But if that is the case, you guys still have me, haven't seen anything out of them that I particularly like. Just waiting on some of the upcoming product offerings to drop right now :)

I've known about everlane for a while and signed up early, but since i live in sweden I haven't been able to buy myself anything.
And well, I certainly haven't gotten less excited about this after reading through this thread.
Keep up the good work, and also hurry up with International shipping

Could be my imagination but the shirt seems to fit a little better after washing it. Also, I invited >25 people but never got the $25 credit, it's probably been about a month - should I do anything?

This is an area we are exploring with women first - we have some fantastic women's styles coming out that fit this description almost exactly. They are similar to some Alex Wang and Issey Miake pieces from the last few seasons, updated and done in silk, modal and rayon. The men's version of this kind of stuff is a little far off but it's totally in the scope of our thinking. For this season, you juts have to buy it for your GF.

so uhh do I really need to invite 5 friends in order to get in or do I just wait?

Nope, PM me your email and I will send you an invite.

You guys just need to keep up the quality and try to do the Made in USA thing.

Quality is always our first concern. If the quality isn't there, we will not ship it period.
We also love local manufacturing - most of our stuff is made not only in the US, but in LA and SF, within a couple dozen miles of our offices.

That said, made in USA is not any guarantee of a quality product. Some of the best clothing manufacturers are located in the US (Southwick, Gitman, NE Shirting to name a few), but other ones, which shall remain nameless in this thread, produce stuff that isn't any better than what you will get from Asia, and in many cases, is much less consistent and well-finished. It will vary from producer to producer no matter what country you are in. Ralph Lauren makes most of the Polo line in China, and say what you want about the brand and the man, but you'd be hard-pressed to accuse PRL of being poorly made.

We visit every workshop we use, and we are working on some behind the scenes stuff (videos and other media) to show our customers the entire process of how our products get designed and made. We are trying to make it more rigorous than the usual making of videos you see from brands - it's something that we think people really respond well to, rather than the usual closed-curtain policy you get from retailers.

Haha, I can't believe you're the one to answer my question. But if that is the case, you guys still have me, haven't seen anything out of them that I particularly like. Just waiting on some of the upcoming product offerings to drop right now :)

It's just some friendly competition.

Thanks! We are working on it - right now we are pretty inventory constrained, so we aren't quite ready to open up to international orders. We got bros from Singapore battering down the gates every day.

Please restock the men's crew clay tee, TIA

Next Thursday. Sweatshirts and T-shirt restocks.

Anyone else notice the white shirts aren't very white? They have a bit of a yellow tinge to it.

Any recommendations as far as washing goes? If I toss it in the dryer should I expect the average shrinkage?

**Looking back, I just learned that all the fabric is pre-washed and that their should be minimal shrinkage with drying on low. So, my own question is answered.

Haven't really seen any stretching or shrinking of my v-necks (S, XS), seems to have stayed pretty similar through a number of laundry cycles.

I don't have the measurements on hand, but we have a few samples in the office and I will post measurements next week.

That'd be great, thanks. Are there set times at which y'all like to have the collections go live, or is it arbitrary? It'll suck if I'm at work during the sweater sale (or for buttondowns in the future).
