I think the Robert last is the most similar fitting to Simpson while keeping to a similar chiseled shape toe. I haven't tried a Robert last on, but from talking to the people at The Armoury, they recommend the same size between the two lasts.

The Rain and Simpsons fit entirely differently. The toe boxes are different (and not just width), the instep is different, and the heals are different.

Looking at pictures and what people have said about it the answer could be the Filadelfia last.

The Filadelfia is said to be low instep like the Simpson, but it looks wider at the toe box.

Unfortunately the Filadelfia last is available in very very few styles (one nice model in the official shop however).

And then there's the Robert. Weren't people saying that it is also lower volume than Forest? (which it does resemble otherwise)

How is the length? Similar to Simpson&Rain, I found these were compatible? My Oscars are far shorter

Comparable length.

@RogerP knows alot about the Rain last, and has tried the Simpson last. When I posted the pics above, he commented that they look wider than the Simpson last.
