Is anyone interested for a group MTO for a double monk in suede on the Simpson last with Dainite soles?

We have three people for sure on this and three possible people on this in Navy cordovan. York sole and we have to choose between Oscar or Robert last. Amazing boot for the fall and winter gentlemen!

Curious thought, not that I need it done now as I just received a few pairs, who would you go to for a resoling? Are you able to send it back to Betty and have them do it? Anyone have any experience with it? If so, how did you find the process?

I would think you would have a decent cobbler in Toronto, or you could always send them to B Nelson which is highly recommended by a number of SF members.:

Not sure what Carmina offers but shipping to and from Spain alone costs around $100

Thanks for the info about bnelson. I'm in no need of resoling, hopefully for a good few years with a solid 3-4 shoe rotation schedule, but thought it would be good to know. It's funny the things you randomly think of.

The resoling job itself is €70, for those interested

Out of interest, how long ago was this? I spoke to Betty earlier this week about getting my double monks resoled and was quoted €200 for a shell cordovan shoe.

No idea if cordovan is more expensive for some reason, but this was about a month ago, when I bought my latest pair. It was €60 last year.
Maybe it's €70 per shoe, who knows. But at that price I'd rather get some topys right now.

Cheers. At the time I didn't blink as I was quoted something similar by John Lobb. I'll maybe drop her another email while I weigh up my options.
