Can these AE shoes be saved?

Hello,

I bought these shoes at a thrift store last night. I did my best to wash and condition them, they look a lot better, but I can't get rid of these black stains.

Anyone know what do do, and if there is hope? I have not tried saddle soap, not sure if that would help.

Thank you.

I'm not expert but it kind of looks like a previous owner tried to use black polish to burnish the shoes? Acetone might work but let some others chime in and definitely watch some youtube videos on how to use that before you do anything drastic haha.

Thank you, I thought of using Renomat but I am a little worried about destroying them
