UNIFORM LA Japanese BDU Camo Cargo Pants Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Japanese BDU Camo Cargo Pants are now live. These cargos are based off vintage US Army BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) cargos. They're made of a premium 13.5-ounce Japanese twill that has been sulfur dyed for a vintage look. Every detail has been carried over from the inspiration and elevated. Available in two colorways, tundra and woodland. Please find them here

How thick are the MOP buttons? They look very thin to me.

between 2-3mm is the thinkest available in this size, and normally available in 3 colors too white, smoked and brown
You quite like posting this picture, don't you?
Thank you for inline quoting it.
A pleasure, and an honour.
What the Chinese man said...that is what you get from the standard sources these days. A bit thinner than the standard horn in the same size. In contrast, I had the insipid plastic buttons in Borrelli Linosa below replaced with pre-WWII MoP buttons...those are substantially thicker.
Thank you for inline quoting it. Actually, I forgot that I had a closeup of the old MoP buttons:
Linen.
I don't know how thick the buttons are, but they feel fine to me. I have to guess the weight of that linen, but I would say it is about 11 ounces. I am wearing the suit today, in a place where the high is supposed to be 83, so this is a good test of it.
Actually working on my own version of this
Perhaps a dumb question, but can this concept work with a DB blazer as opposed to SB?
I think it could.
I have a DB suit in the works with swappable buttons...I think that will work.
