Please spare me the PC accusation -- it's an exhausted, simpleminded, meaningless all-purpose substitute for a substantive response. Not to mention the preposterousness of the suggestion that dialogue on any issue is suppressed because of 'Political Correctness' -- after all, if someone doesn't have the balls to discuss an issue simply because they're afraid someone else will disagree with it and challenge it (heaven forbid!), then whose fault is that? Really, the phrase needs to be retired by anyone with a shred of interest in being taken seriously.

If you think there's any brand of racism that isn't talked about ad nauseam in our society, perhaps it's you who has his head in the sand. I for one hear about it all -- white on black, black on white, black on black, gentile on jew, black on jew, jew on gentile... it goes on... and on... and on. I wonder why. Perhaps because people persist in making superficial generalizations?

The implication that the only logical alternative to your stereotype is the notion that "a majority of blacks in the country have warm feelings for jews" is ridiculous. It's as foolish as asserting that any white person who doesn't 'love black people' must hate them. Nonsense. Frankly, many white people have better things to do than have any particular love or hatred of 'black people' either way. Similarly, many black people have better things to do than nurse some manufactured hatred of 'jews'.

Are there an awful lot of blacks who hate jews? Sure. Are there an awful lots of whites who hate blacks? Sure. Does that mean it's accurate or useful to perpetuate the stereotype that "whites hate blacks, and blacks hate jews". Um, no. I don't think so.

What you've put forth lacked even the slightest bit of substance. I've live in a city with a large Black population and I'm involved with a couple of Black organizations, I have yet to come across any widespread animosity towards Jews. Anyone familiar with the Greater Hartford area knows Blacks and Jews have quite a bit of contact and what you're alluding to is hardly common among the majority. That's why the post was so surprising to me.
I will say that Philly has a large Black Muslim population and the NIO influence looms larger there than most cities, maybe that has had an effect on you experience. But painting it as the general attitude is silly.

It's not just black people either. I've met quebecers with no good reason to dislike Jews that spout all sorts of hateful comments. How the Jews ever affected people living in the small towns of quebec, I'll never understand...

It's really not a black or a white thing. It's just ignorant people in general that have to blame anyone but themselves.

I'm black. I was raised in a "good black family." I have 2 'best' friends. One is Jewish, one is Black.

I used to bring my Jewish friend with me to church youth functions, back when I still went, all the time. He was always accepted. This was in Southern VA (Norfolk/VA Beach, where I'm from). The Nation of Islam dislikes Jews, true enough. Ironically, my family feels that Jews are people that have the most in common with African-Americans, when compared to other ethnicities.

I dislike all people equally based on stupidity, not race.

Exactly.

Every race has their ethnic slurs...I won't get into detail...but they usually describe the lowest class of that race, rather than the race as a whole.
