Black cords - what goes???

Hi I've only just stumbled upon this forum, and therefore this thread so I'm probably to late to offer much help.
In my opinion, the black cords would go great with a grey suede chukka or dessert boot.
Clarks do a really nice pair.
You could then match it with a grey suede belt and grey crew neck sweater, or a white shirt and simple grey blazer for a smarter look.

This Sisley unstructured blazer would work really well. I actually own this particular blazer and got mine from ASOS.

I have a pair of black cords and I seem to wear them most with sweaters (shawl collar cashmere cardigans in red and grey) and various pieces of outerwear. Black suede wingtips are my usual choice for footwear, though I have worn black crocodile loafers and black kangaroo skin hunting boots as well.
