I'd never buy some clothes from some wannabe, whether I could afford them or not. There is nothing interesting the guy has to say, really, except for how much his items cost and which snob he dressed.
Sure there is nice stuff in his boutique, but hey, it is/has been made by the finest of European tailoring houses and craftsmen using their finest fabrics (that he sells for 70% more above the original prize), what do you expect?

That YouTube vid quotes a bunch of prices.

Looks like ties cost about $700, a cashmere jacket 20k

For some strange reason Bijan 11.5 crocodile shoes are only worth $75. Don't waste you time trying to find a buyer, just pm me

I went on to ebay to see what was for sale under men's clothing. $10K retail corduroy suit in purple for a few grand, used. What a joke.

Bijan claims that he's a perfume designer as well right? On Amazon, his perfume is listed at $20 for a 2.5 oz new.

That doesn't seem to go with other 5-6 figure stuffs...

His marketing, service, personal involvment, worldwide elite affiliation just gives people who actually have 20k to spend on a cashmere jacket a reason to spend it. If they are happy, Bijan is happy, and no-one is hurt in the process; who gives a flying toss what some people on an internet forum think?

A lot of the price you pay is to spend a shopping day with this Bijan guy, (which as he said; Giorgio Armani would never do, and if he did I am sure you'd have to cough up like its 1930). Then comes the exclusivity; for people who regularly socialise with the elite, RLPL and the like just isn't going to cut it, if you want to one-up (expensive-wise I am saying, not style-wise; as that is subjective) with your clothes then Bijan's ultra exclusive (and I am not using this term loosely, I mean he has a very very small turnover of clothes compared to said Kiton or Armani etc.) will do the trick. He also does full wardrobes, with a matching 'handbook' so to speak; for people who have money but aren't too naturally tasteful and/or lack the time/humility to browse t3h SF, which apparently captions every item within the wardrobe you have bought with places you should wear it to, to what you should wear it with.

For a billionaire this sounds like a bargain.

Also as an n.b.; Zilli, Billionaire Couture aren't too far off Bijan's tag.

All of which makes perfect sense. Of course, as the place to shop for billionaires with no style, it's little wonder that it irks the collective id of SF.

The only real problem I have with it is Bijan's obvious lack of taste - the house is garish, the car is hideous. Why would anybody turn to him for guidance on how to dress?

When I recently was in Zilli on E 57th my hands were literally like Mo's in the Bijan video, constantly being overloaded by luxurious feels.

My local tailor once altered a few Bijan garments made for an NBA player and he told me that the make was on par with Gucci, from the buttons to the trouser clasp was made in house. Funny that Mr. Bijan spoke of "Mr. Gucci" in the video.
