Hi,

I'm getting married this summer and have decided that I want to wear this Ralph Lauren Black Label Shawl Collar Tuxedo - http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=16398946

The only problem is that I can't find it anywhere in Montreal (Harry Rosen doesn't have the shawl collar model and apparently can't get it) and I also can't find it for purchase anywhere online other than ralphlauren.com (I've looked everywhere!), and they only deliver to the U.S.

So, I'm wondering how to go about getting this tux. I have a friend who lives in Boston that I could have the tux delivered to. But then when he sends it to me I'm going to get hit with Canadian taxes and duties (after already having paid the Boston taxes), right?

It may be that that is the only way to get it and I will have to grit my teeth and bear it, but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this kind of situation before and perhaps has a brilliant idea?

Thanks in advance.

have your friend ship using USPS, there are no import duties or ur friend could use UPS or Fedex or whatever, mark it as a gift and you're safe.
Only way u'd get hit with the duties is if you RL ships it directly to you. Its not that bad anyways, i think its 40 bucks for every $1000.
