alternatives to jeans

everyone loves jeans. i love em, too. but i don't see people wear much else, casually. along with khakis, what are your alternatives to wearing just jeans?

Sta-Prest, wool/tweed and though I don't have any at the moment i love cords - I think I have to get some again - saw some nice ones at the oi polloi sale - hmmm - bottle green...

I have a few pairs of vintage poly wrangler slacks that I wear if I'm not feeling like jeans.

Carhartt pants. The hamilton pant is a really nice and easy cut.. and then the washed duck pants (b11) (with removed hammer loop and carhartt leather patch) for the more hardcore days. Im actually waiting for a new pair right now...

This is actually a genius idea. Cheap, classic cuts, rugged... I think I'm going to have to get a pair. 35 bucks is just awesome. Considering the absurd prices that so many designers charge, that's a steal : )
