Me too! They are 1.0, right? I would rather have these than 2.0.
I got into GL during my early college years through Jack Johnson. "talkin' bout a girl named Nikki-nikiki su..."...just here for the DU and G-Love lyrics...
Edit: I wonder how many people know the latter. He put on some fun shows back in the day. Saw DU once too. Short of a few songs, I thought they were turrrrrrible.
Well, that's...interesting...
I have been eyeing a brand new pair of Jefferson 2.0's from our favorite eBay seller for quite a long time. I literally have the same exact shoe already and have no need to buy another, but the list price now is only about $120. The soles are pristine. The only defect? Someone tried to squeeze into a size too small for them. The repair job is undeniably ugly, but likely not too noticeable on a black shoe with longer trousers to cover the heel. I think this shoe is well worth a try for someone on a budget.
This is only a PSA because I will not be buying them. The size is 10B, and would probably fit a medium-narrow foot that takes 10D in the 65 last. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Allen-E...2-0-034-Oxfords-10-B-Black-281-/122353513298?
The defect in question:

PSA: Shoebank prices for all Brooks models have dropped down to $149 again.
I'm curious as to why the Brooks Brothers models are more expensive than regular AE shoes, but the 2nds are much cheaper than regular AE seconds. For example, the BB Strand is $428 new, but the BB seconds Strand is only $149.
Anyone have any experience or opinions on the Brooks San Marco? I've been looking for a casual wet weather shoe and I might bite at $149.PSA: Shoebank prices for all Brooks models have dropped down to $149 again.
Use caution with the 222 last. You might need a width wider than what you usually wear.Anyone have any experience or opinions on the Brooks San Marco? I've been looking for a casual wet weather shoe and I might bite at $149.
